Overview
For this assignment, you must research and identify FOUR organizations in your area with outreach/volunteer opportunities that are related to marine science and write half a page on each one. Each half-page paper should include the following: the name of the organization, what type of organization they are (i.e., government agency, private company, non-profit, for-profit, etc.), where the organization is located, the organization's mission statement, what services they provide to the community and/or environment, and a brief summary of the outreach/volunteer opportunities they sponsor. You must also include if this is your first time learning about these organizations and their outreach/volunteer opportunities—if it is not your first time, how did you learn about them? Have you ever volunteered or worked with them before? Would you be willing to volunteer for them? Why or why not?
