Overview
Students will answer ONE of the following questions:
A) In Chapter 1 page 15 There is a section on Addressing Environmental Problems. Explain a real world example of the 5 steps to address a problem.
B) Look at one of the major terrestrial biomes in Chapter 6, explain one of the symbiotic relationships (Chapter 5) in this biome. Explain the habitat, species involved, nature of the relationship (whether it is a mutualism, parisitism, competition, commensalism) and how it can be impacted by humans (similar to how the food web of the Antartic in Chapter 3 pg. 51 was explained).
Guidelines
- Minimum 4 paragraphs and each paragraph must have a minimum of 5 full sentences (not sentence fragments nor run-on sentences).
- No quoting. You need to paraphrase. I do not accept quotations.
- This is a college level course proper grammar, diction, and spelling is required.
- Use your lectures, book and other sources to answer.
- You must use citations (both in-text citations and a bibliography look up how to cite if this is your first time) in your answer, the key to these posts are that they are NOT based on personal bias, opinion, or beliefs. You need to back up what you are saying with data, science, and logical argument.
- You can NOT use Wikipedia, popular news outlets, random google websites as sources. I highly recommend using peer-reviewed journal articles, government websites and reports, and books published by professionals in the field.
- You can NOT the same or similar answers, examples as your classmates. If I deem it too similar I will deduct points. Read what other students have posted and make sure you are not writing the same thing.
