Environmental Science Question

Overview

I need a hand typed reflection paper with emotions(No AI generate). Please read the instruction(with file) carefully first.

One of the most important climate actions you can take is to talk about climate change. For this assignment, your goal is to engage in a purposeful conversation about climate change with someone carefully chosen to provide diverse perspectives. The ensuing reflection paper serves to enhance your communication skills regarding climate change while fostering an understanding of diverse perspectives. Through specific conversation excerpts, you will reflect on emotional responses, insights gained, and any shifts in perspectives. Evaluate communication dynamics, identifying barriers encountered in conveying information about climate change. Consider the potential impact of the conversation on future discussions, both with the same individual and others, and explore strategies for improving communication about the climate crisis. Your reflection paper must be about 1000 words.

For this assignment you will:

  • Read Climate Conversations: A Survival GuideDownload Climate Conversations: A Survival Guide
  • Review this document summarizing the difference between a Reflection Paper and an essay
  • Identify someone you would like to talk to (family member, friend, community leader etc.)
  • Set a time and hold an interview/conversation (about an hour long)
  • Write a Reflection Paper (about 1000 words) that: 1) summarizes who you talked to and what you talked about, 2) reflects on emotional responses, insights gained, any shifts in perspectives, and strategies for improving communication about the climate crisis, and 3) connects to course materials (e.g. the Climate Conversations Survival Guide) and/or other materials about effective climate communication (e.g. your own research into peer-reviewed or grey literature). You may find it helpful to use headers and subheading to define the sections.

You can pick anyone you want to talk to about climate change and the conversation does not have to be in person. Make sure that you PLAN AHEAD and book a time to speak with someone in advance. You will need about an hour in order to have enough material to write about in your Reflection Paper and picking someone for a reason (a family member who you suspect disagrees with you, a friend or colleague who you've never talked about climate change with, your niece who is a youth climate activist etc.) will make for a better Reflection Paper.
