Overview
For this week’s assignment, you will pick a topic for your paper.
You also will write a brief (1 paragraph minimum) explanation identifying the reasons why you chose the topic.
Your topic must be approved before you write your paper. For example, if you were to write a paper about Hurricane Katrina, then your paper would cover the topic of hurricanes as well as provide a detailed analysis of how Katrina impacted New Orleans (since Hurricane Katrina will be discussed many times, and used as a example many times as well, it is not available as a research paper topic).
