Concept Map

You'll notice that in the bottom left the document says "paste google drawing here." As part of this task, you will be creating a Google drawing of a molecule of water. Be sure to label the molecule with the types of atoms and the charges that make this molecule polar.

Please carefully read the given tutorial if you have never used Google Draw before. As before, select the image below and this will open in a Google Doc tutorial.

2. Go to: NOAA Coral Reef Watch Daily 5km Regional Virtual Stations

NOAA provides station data for many coral reefs around the world. Use the information below to answer the questions on the Unit 3 Assignment.

When selecting a marker on the map, you are selecting an individual station. There will be a few data points listed.

SST = Sea Surface Temperature Hotspot = SST - MMM_SST_climatology where the MMM_SST_climatology value is the highest monthly mean SST of the year. Anomaly = If the value is positive, it means that the SST is higher than average. If the value is negative, it means that the SST is lower than average. DHW = Degree Heating Week Value The gauge at the top will tell you the current coral bleaching alert level.
