Overview
Take what I've done with the scene from Murnau's film Faust as some kind of an inspiration and now watch this clip from The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari. Use your knowledge about of post-WWI Germany, or of Expressionism, or of film history and art history in general, or simply rely on what you notice as peculiar and interesting in this scene (from its style to its gender politics) and write a short reading/interpretation of this scene. Focus on one theme or aspect in your short writing. No more than 250-300 words.
