Society Blindness to The Struggles of Intersex People Analysis

Overview

Anne Fausto-Sterling writes in Chapter One of Sexing the Body that "components of our political, social, and moral struggles become, quite literally, embodied, incorporated into our very physiological being". In other words, the political, social, and moral debates about sex and sexuality in a culture actually change our physical bodies. Describe how this is the case for one or more participants in the documentary Intersexion. Please cite at least one quote from Sexing the Body (not a quote referenced in lecture), rephrase it in your own words, and explain how it is relevant to the documentary Intersexion.
