Overview
This is a video making assignment:
Using a cell phone or video recording device, please create a video production related to an issue in American health care. The video must be between 4-6 minutes but may not exceed 6 minutes duration.
*Important note: The Final Project submission will be in three parts: • your oral presentation of the topic including why you made the video, what messages you hope the viewer will realize, challenges along the way, and its significance to Medical Humanities and to you. • the video you created • a written summary describing your motivation for the project, the development of your concept for the video, your intended message for the video, the relationship of the video to current issues in American Healthcare, the relationship to Medical Humanities and to you.
(Tutor do not have to do the oral presentation about the video. Only written summary and the video project is needed.)
For my Final Video Project, I am trying to reflect on the Cost and Transparency issue of healthcare. People with low economic status are badly affected by this issue. This is not just an issue of the USA in the healthcare sector but a major issue throughout the whole world. People have to lose their life as they cannot afford the expensive disease treatment and this is a very common issue. I will try my best to portray this issue in my final video.
