Film choice: Home Alone 2 lost in New York
You will describe the film, including its place in the holiday films genre, and explain what your choice of film can show or tell viewers about the holiday film genre that other films might not: essentially, explaining what makes the film different or special. If your film fills a gap that you recognize in the syllabus, then you will describe how your film fills that gap. Your submission will also explore the film’s ideological significance and, if it makes sense to do so, the historical and/or industrial context in which it was made.
