Write a FILM APPRECIATION for LOST IN TRANSLATION MOVIE. The spectator needs to identify with the character, and for that, the character needs to be credible. What makes Bob and Charlotte believable? What makes their story universal? What are their motivations? What are their conflicts?
Based on what you learned about Bob and Charlotte watching the film:
- Write a short biography for Bob AND a short biography for Charlotte (150 words each).
Each of these short biographies should address:
- What makes the character believable?
- What makes the character's story universal?
- What are the character's motivations (what is the character trying to achieve)?
- What are the character's conflicts (what are the persons and things getting on the way of the character trying to achieve the motivation)?
