Overview
Report on 1-2 historic photos of movie theaters on the website Calisphere, https://calisphere.or Links to an external site.. You may search for your own photos on the site or use those I discussed in lecture (the list is below). Your report should include the photos’ titles, the collection they are from, and the photo’s date. You should also include the theater’s name and location, and a brief history. Draw on information about the theater on Calisphere, as well as internet searches, to tell the theater’s life story—when was it founded, what kinds of films did it show, how has it changed over time. Finally, describe any interesting information in the photo about the history of Mexican movie culture.
