Assignment: When Harry Met Sally is often considered to be the first Nostalgic/Neo-Traditional comedy. Write a 1250--2500 word essay on how a) the film reflects the four basic elements of the rom-com genre and b) what sets the film apart as its own sub-genre, i.e., what makes it a Neo- Romantic? Don’t short-change the Neo-Romantic. It’s the paper’s primary focus.
