Overview
This is an opportunity to dive into a topic that is broadly relevant to the subjects we have covered in the class and, where relevant, to apply the experiences you have gained from your CEL service assignment to our study of Chinese-Americans and film. The goal of your project should be to produce a paper that will provide readers or viewers with knowledge of the history of film made by and about Chinese and/or Chinese Americans..
You can choose to do this project either individually or together with one partner. In either case, please submit a one-page description of both the content and the format, along with a list of your principal sources, by November 20.
