For this assignment, you will all be using the web-based version of Google Earth (Links to an external site.) (just like last week), and creating your own guided tour for the class. The following video (~2-minutes long), provides a quick overview of the tools that you will be using for your project.

Assignment Details:
There will be many parts to this project, so be sure to read through this section completely and take a look at the rubric to make sure you have all of the components completed in for this assignment. At the bottom of this section, I have an example of what your guided tour project can look like. I did leave some detailed information out on how landscape features formed (I can't give away all the answers).

EDITED TO ADD (5/25/20): If you have an idea of an area or feature you would like use as a landscape feature stop, but you do not know if it will be acceptable for this assignment, send me (Erin) an email. Most of the time will likely be fine as long as you can relate it to something that was discussed in the second half of the term.
Part 2 - The Discussion Post (4 points total)
After your tour with all the stops is completed, you need to prepare your post for the rest of the members in your discussion group. Be sure to include the following components in your post:
- The national park you choose for this assignment. (1 point)
- Link to your Google Earth Project. (1 point)
- Why did you choose this park for this assignment? (2 points)

Example of a finished project and post:
I chose to do my project on Death Valley National Park because this is one of my favorite National Parks, and I have already been sharing many examples from the park in previous units. It is also a landscape that often gets overlooked due to a desert being "boring" with no life or very few features or cool things to see.
