A geology lab assignment about carbonate rocks.
Hint: It can be sometimes be hard to tell the difference between mud and spar that is in between grains without a thin section and microscope. Usually mud is more opaque and ranges from a tan (or even greenish in some cases) to a dark grey color. Usually spar is lighter color and maybe a bit more transparent looking.
