This assignment question is: What natural factors control the impact of extreme flooding on channel adjustment and why? (Note this should include concepts of confinement, stream power, connectivity and channel:slope coupling drawing on examples where possible).
This assignment is an essay (2500-3000 words) and I have not been attending to lectures due to the word load of my dissertation so I do not understand how to clearly answer this question.
I would like some one with an expertise in this field to briefly summarise the answers to this question, taking the notes into considering, in 400-600 words and if possible recommend some articles/sources that would help me write this essay.
