Overview
QUESTION:
In this module, we covered the topics of metamorphic rocks as well as deformation and geologic structures. Our National Parks are locations where many types of rocks and geologic features are exposed. For this discussion, please describe 1) one fault or fold, and 2) one occurrence of metamorphic rocks in a National Park. You find below a list of websites that you can use for your research. In your discussion post, describe the examples you chose, and include information about the location, the 1) type of structure and 2) type of metamorphic rock, how the structure/rock formed, the age, and any other interesting information you might find. Each of your paragraphs should be about 100 words long. Please include your sources.
In your replies to other students, either add an interesting detail to the locations they described, or compare your selections with those of the other students and point out similarities or differences. Your replies to others should be two to three sentences long.
