- describe the methods and limits of scientific investigation as used in marine fish stock assessments. (no outside literature)
Scoring will be based on the following criteria:

- content accuracy and comprehension of the data acquisition, methods of analyses and outcomes of scientific investigations, and
- the limitations of the methods in achieving reliable and verifiable estimates and the application of the results to the overall goals of fish stock assessment.
- The essay should be written in third person narrative style as it is a technical essay.
