Discussion Prompt:
1. Restate your PICOT question and briefly describe the intervention you're implementing.
2. Identify the key outcome measure you are using to evaluate your intervention.
3. Select an appropriate statistical test you would use to analyze the before-and-after results (e.g., paired t-test, chi-square test).
4. Using a hypothetical or real result, explain:
⊙ What would it mean if your result was statistically significant (e.g., p < 0.05)?
⊙ Would that same result also be clinically meaningful in your setting? Why or why not?
5. Discuss how statistical and clinical significance will influence your QI decisions, sustainability planning, or communication with stakeholders.
