Ethical Issues Paper
This assignment is designed to give you the opportunity to explore an ethical/societal issue within sport more deeply. Choose an ethical issue in sport that you would like to explore further and analyze/discuss it using research. The topic should be more specific than just “gender and sport” or “race and sport”. It cannot be on the topic that you will debate in class. Include at least 5 peer-reviewed resources.

Your paper should be 3-5 pages in length (not including APA cover page and references) and it should include the following in the discussion:
- A summary of the main points regarding the ethical/societal issue chosen (i.e., what did you learn from exploring the literature?).
- History of the issue in sport
- If it is an issue that is controversial be sure to acknowledge points on both sides of the argument.
- Recommendations for professionals in your field (AT, Ex phys, Sport psych, etc.) on how they can help to address the issue.
