Overview
In this Assignment, you will work to identify a theoretical or conceptual framework that would be appropriate to ground your study. You will locate at least two sources that include your selected framework including the work of the original author
To prepare:
- Review feedback from your peers and instructor in the Discussion.
- Review the Learning Resources on theoretical and conceptual frameworks.
- Review the Prospectus Form appendix related Section 3: Frameworks.
- Search for and select at least two scholarly sources to support the framework you believe will be the best fit for your study and add the references to Zotero.
- At least one of the two articles must be the original publication from the theorists who proposed the theoretical or conceptual framework. The publication does not need to be within the last 5 years.
- The second article should be a publication that helps clarify or strengthen the connection your primary framework has to the study.
The Assignment: Supporting Your FrameworkUsing information from the discussion, select the best theory or concept to frame your study. Specify a theoretical or conceptual framework that is aligned with your problem of interest, purpose, and research questions.
- Synthesize the information from your sources to explain your framework.
- Describe how the framework supports your study.
- Reference and cite each of your selected articles.
