Overview
Utilize a patient with gender dysphoria or substance use and complete a SOAP note on the patient. Be sure to include all of the following elements in the initial psychiatric interview:
- Subjective: Identification, CC, HPI
- Objective: MSE, vitals, labs
- Assessment: Include differential diagnosis and the definitive diagnosis
- Plan: What you did to help this patient
- Discuss cultural and ethical considerations for this patient.
