A local youth football league for 8 - 14-year olds has determined they would like to offer a preparticipation physical examination (PPE) screening for its participants. The youth league has contracted with your medical organization to serve as the sports medicine provider, placing you in the role of development and oversight of the PPE screening.
The assignment should address the following:
- Identify/Name the stations within the PPE screening.
- Provide a rationale for including each station.
- Determine time spent at each station.
- Determine which member of the sports medicine team will administer each station.
- Propose or reflect on stations that you would include at the university and/or professional level but are not part of this youth league PPE screening.
