In this module, you are considering the historical development of the healthcare system in the United States, including developments in public health. One powerful way to make sense of these historical materials is to name them and place them in a timeline.
Instructions
- Create a document using MS Word
- Create a table or simple list that shows, for each decade of the 20th and 21st century, the major medical innovations and changes to the healthcare system in the United States. Note the impact of each item related to health policy and the effects of each item that had an impact on public health.
- To create the timeline, refer to Chapter 1 in your textbook as well as this module’s materials on the history of public health.
- For each decade listed in your chart, include at least 3 developments.
