Social Media Campaign Project
This is a project where it involves making a short video. The video is about a public health behavior that needs attention in our community, and it needs to have you, the student, in it either directly or indirectly. You may be as creative as you would like, points will be earned as long as you follow the directions.
Directions
- Select a public health behavior (some examples are hand washing, safe driving, air pollution...).
- Define your target population and formulate a specific message for the population.
- Think of a slogan or a simple catchy phrase to help deliver the message.
- Create a video with a message to encourage a behavior change. The criteria for the video are:
- The video should be between 1 and 4 minutes (max).
- You should be in the video and, somehow. If you are camera shy, you may be in the video indirectly --be creative. Somehow you need to be part of delivering the health behavior message.
- The slogan needs to be in some way in the video.
- Submit the video along with a simple paragraph with the below information. The paragraph can be added to the comments section of the submission or in the textbox submission.
- Explanation of the public health behavior change you are targeting and why this behavior change is important within the view of Public Health.
- Explain your target population.
- State your slogan or simple phrase.
