Overview
The purpose of this activity is to make the connection between effective project initiation and ultimate project success and to learn why getting a strong start is important.
Consider a project from everyday life—e.g., from home or work.
Construct a two-column table in Excel or a table in Word. Use the columns to explain a project. An everyday project should be the topic for the assignment.
1. In the left column, record actions and decisions you will make at the start of the project.
2. Next to each action or decision, record how these actions may affect project success.
You must include 3 or more actions or decisions for full credit with corresponding success effects.
