Health & Medical Question

Overview

Of the multitude of strategies discussed this week for increasing work enjoyment for staff, what is your favorite/most preferred strategy discussed in this module? How will you integrate this strategy into your supervision practice in the future? What will it look like when you implement it with a supervisee/trainee? Are there any practices discussed that you will avoid in your supervision in the future, and why?

Remember to review the Reflection Paper rubric and instructions for reviewing a peer's submission in the Important Course Information module.

Additionally, please include LINKS or DOIs to any articles or books referenced outside of the assigned readings as part of your APA citation (as is required when using web-based referencesLinks to an external site.). Failing to do so will result in point deductions.

this are past comments please have them counted for this paper Hi Gabriela, your reflection was engaging and clearly explained why the cybersecurity training was ineffective. I appreciated how you connected the missing BST components to your negative experience—especially the lack of modeling and practice. To make the paper stronger, you could briefly connect your analysis to one of the course readings, like Reid et al. (2021), and ensure the reference section follows APA 7 formatting (e.g., italicize the journal title Computers & Security). Overall, your paper was clear, relevant, and reflected solid critical thinking—great job!

Hi, Gabriela I read your reflection on the training experience of Mandatory Cybersecurity training. I found the reflection effectively critiques the experience by identifying core BST failures, the absence of “Modeling” (no live/demonstrated threat handling), “Rehearsal” (zero practice in realistic scenarios), and meaningful “Feedback” (only quiz scores which checks knowledge). This aligns with BST principles we learned in this module, help me understand fully your frustration and lack of skill retention. However, I do think there is improvement that can be made for this paper. I feel you should add a description part of the training, show us some concrete training factors such as “4-hour video lectures, no roleplays and feedback part, etc.”, since right now the reflection is overly subjective, lacking objective details (e.g., training duration, format specifics, learner demographics). Also, when listing missing BST elements and talking about the main purposes of BST, you could have tied them to the material of our module materials, using it as additional reference to support your opinions. The training focused only on *Reaction* (completion rates) and *Learning* (quizzes), ignoring *Behavior* (on-job application) and *Results* (security outcomes)—key to evaluating effectiveness. Those elements are all mentioned and well-explained in our module recorded lecture. The reflection overall is a well-reasoned critique about a bad training experience. Bravo Gabriela! Sincerely yours Carol Zheng.
