Purpose
Strong APA formatting skills are necessary for your success in the degree advancement program (DAP), and the best way to strengthen these skills is to practice. This assignment is intended to help you do just that. Plus, the feedback I will provide when I grade this assignment will help you in the areas where it's needed, further setting you up for success in the rest of this class and the rest of the program.
Instructions
- Choose a clinical topic or concept that especially interests you. This can be anything, as long as it is clinical.
- Use your literature search skills to find one source on the topic you selected. Try to select a strong source, such as an article from a peer-reviewed journal.
- Access the TEMPLATE at the bottom of the page and save a copy as as "[Last Name] APA Formatting Practice."
- Follow all instructions within the document. As you work through it, remove all instructions from the template. Anything in brackets [ ] is something you should delete and replace with your answer.
- NOTE: you do NOT have to write an essay! I only want to see what the template asks for - it should look just like the example linked at the bottom of the page.
- When you're ready, come back to this page and submit your document.
- Option 1: If you used the Word document template, this should be fairly simple. Upload your document as you would any other file.
