Wk 5 Proposal: Implementation and Assessment
Before you can submit a proposal for board approval, you must first think through the implementation and execution of your proposal. You are planning ahead as to rollout, risks, and solutions needed to make your proposal a reality.
Assignment Preparation
Review the Capstone Proposal Template. You will be completing the Quality, Risk Assessment, Governance, Organization, and Marketing sections in this assignment.
Assignment Deliverable
Use the Capstone Proposal Template you downloaded in Week 1 and add to it throughout this course.
Address the following sections in 1,050–1,400 words total:
Quality
Analyze the needed quality assurance and benchmarking initiatives or agencies to determine the proposal’s success.
Explain how recommended tools or initiatives improve patient care, services, or organizational performance.
Risk Assessment
Assess any major risks involved in the proposal, including quality management, safety, confidentiality, records, personnel, and how to plan for mitigation.
Governance
Explain how the proposal fits into the current or new governance bylaws/policies, structures, and bodies, including the medical staff reporting structure.
Organization
Develop a high-level organizational structure and chart that shows the Board, CEO, Senior Team, Medical Staff, Departments, and so forth. Consider how the organizational structure can build collaborative relationships with stakeholders.
Marketing
Assess the market, competition, and any patient considerations, and plan how marketing will be conducted.
