1. Discuss your thoughts about Adderall and other stimulant medications being prescribed to children to help them address symptoms of ADHD. What are your thoughts about people who don't have ADHD symptoms and take prescription stimulants simply to enhance their cognitive abilities and performance?
2. Discuss your thoughts about the use of depressants such as benzodiazepines and xanax to address symptoms of anxiety. What are your thoughts about risks associated with taking these prescription drugs? Do you think our society is more anxious now than before? If so, what do you think are some factors contributing to this?
