Scenario, Audience, and Production
For this case study you will prepare a video presentation with a visual aid (e.g., PowerPoint) that meets the following criteria:
- Is approximately 5 minutes long
- Discover or Define emerging issue(s) in healthcare you see arising from your perspective.
- Explain what the impacts are, and why should others pay attention.
- This could be COVID-related, healthcare equity, staffing, opioids, and particular substance abuse issues, anything that warrants your thoughts and focus that meets the topic.
- Contains references to at least 3 sources
- You may use your textbook for one of your sources
- The supplemental resources Module 6 in the module may also be useful, but I encourage you to expand your search to resources outside of what you have already explored
- References should be provided in APA format at the end of your presentation slides and must be used in a citation in the presentation.
To conclude your presentation, reflect on the information you have absorbed throughout this module and the research you have done:
- Is there something that is an issue for healthcare workers that don't get enough attention or hasn't been studied?
- Do you have professional experience with this topic?
For the audience of this presentation, you should assume that this presentation is being given at the "full department meeting".
Your video does not have to be flawless, but it should be a relatively high-production value. You should not have any extended pauses or stops and starts. You may edit your recording prior to uploading.
