Assignment - Renal and Endocrine Pathophysiology of Your PPoP
In this assignment you will develop one annotated bibliography from a source that addresses renal and/or endocrine pathophysiologic conditions for your PPoP. In this activity you will continue to develop your annotations for your portfolio and final PPoP project.
Instructions:
- Each annotation should consist of a 2-3 sentence summary of the key findings/ takeaway from the source, a brief (1-2 sentence) description of the analytic technique used (if applicable), a critique of the strengths/limitations of the study, and a 1-2 sentence explanation of how the source will contribute to their final paper. The annotation should be in your own words – do not copy and paste directly from the abstract or the text.
- Write your annotated bibliography with "tags" in your example that follow the guidelines
- example: My first sentence will provide a broad summary of the article. My second sentence will identify key findings. My third sentence may expand on key findings if necessary [tag here: summary]. My first sentence here will describe the analytic technique, and research methods used [tag here: context]. My second sentence will provide a critique of strengths and limitations [tag here: critique]. My first sentence here will describe how the source aligns with my final PPoP paper. My second sentence will describe how it aligns with other contributions to the final paper. [tag here: contributions].
- This format will be practice for your final PPoP annotated resources.
