1. Please read: The article and reflect on your practice experiences using various liberation strategies and your thoughts on whether ultrasound has a role, and answer the following question.
A. What disease processes that pose the hardest challenge to wean from mechanical ventilation do you think would benefit from using ultrasound as a tool?
B. What predictors do you currently use or have you used in the past to help predict readiness for extubation in patients (this can be any age range of patients)?
C. What are some limitations that you see to using lung ultrasound as a weaning tool?
