Overview
1. Observational studies and case-control studies play a key role in the evolution of medical knowledge. They are the first sources of information on evolving concerns in clinical practice; they are where we first hear about key interventions; they are the major source of guidance for rare diseases; and they provide the information that frames our clinical trials as we refine our knowledge and develop clinical practice guidelines. I know some of them are dated, but each of these articles paved the way for future research. Please use the selected article below and discuss what the authors describe and how it has impacted clinical practice.
