corrections of manuscript
Post ID: 3442711
Overview
- Go through the manuscript comment by comment.
-
Make the smallest possible edit to fix each comment.
-
Do not rewrite or reorganize the manuscript.
-
Keep the original structure, flow, and tone.
-
If a comment asks for clarification, add only one clear sentence.
-
If a comment points to repetition, delete or shorten the repeated text.
-
If a comment requests consistency, adjust the wording across the paper (e.g., always use “CYSN approval”; define “timely access” the same way in Abstract, Methods, and Discussion).
-
If a comment is about tables or figures, fix labels, footnotes, or formatting only. Do not change results or numbers.
-
Do not add or delete entire sections unless a comment specifically asks for it.
-
Leave a short reply to each comment in the margin (e.g., “Fixed,” “Clarified definition,” “Deleted duplicate sentence”).
-
If a comment is unclear, mark it for clarification.
-
Deliver two versions:
-
A tracked-changes version with replies to comments.
-
A clean version with all changes accepted.
-
The final goal is a manuscript that looks the same overall, but with every coauthor comment resolved clearly and professionally, ready for Q1 journal submission.
- Please feel free to ask me for clarification if anything unclear.
