Overview
Healthcare is delivered across multiple care environments from primary care in the clinic to tertiary or quaternary care in the hospital. Healthcare may also be delivered in the home.
When thinking about the healthcare continuum, patients will range in age from newborns to the elderly. Patients will also have a range of chronic conditions and have many complex issues affecting their care (i.e. mental health, education level, transportation, etc.). It is important to consider the many variables and complexities within each environment as that may influence how care is delivered and received.
In this assignment, you will use a template (provided below) to write a 2-3 page paper focusing on one healthcare environment and its many complexities.
