Read the following article, Data, Information, Evidence, and Knowledge: A Proposal for Health Informatics and Data ScienceLinks to an external site.
Do you agree with the author’s proposed changes to the data-information-knowledge-wisdom model in the healthcare setting? Why or why not? Support your thoughts with referenced sources.
Grading
The report must be prepared in essay form and be 1 to 2 pages in length (not including the title and reference pages). Research and include at least three (or more) reference sources in APA format. For a grading breakdown, please review the rubric Download the rubric.
Your assignment should be submitted in a three-paragraph format as explained below. Please use 12-point font and one-inch margins, and double- space your assignment.
- First page – title page
- Second page – response
- First paragraph – list the topic you picked and write about why you agree or disagree
- Second paragraph – support your thoughts and state barriers to success and possible solutions to overcome those barriers
- Third paragraph – a summation and an estimate of when, if ever, it may occur
- Check for grammar, as this will count towards your final grade
- Third page – References should be in APA format only. Cite references correctly for your sources, as this will count towards your final grade. Use at least three sources/references for full credit
Please remember that copying and pasting information from other sources without proper citation is considered plagiarism. Also, copying and pasting information from other sources, even if appropriately cited, demonstrates a lack of effort, and as such, it is graded poorly.
