ECEC 2256—FamilyEngagement Assignment and Presentation
Develop a short presentation (1-5 slides or pages)for an imaginary center with the goal of promoting meaningful family involvement and engagement in your program.
This presentation should highlight some of the family-friendly practices your center engages in to connect and collaborate with families to support children’s learning.
Presentation format for 11/13/25:
• Present your slides using the following topic—
o Top 5 Things We Do to Connect
This is your title—you can make up a program name and add any graphics you like, but you can’t change the title or topic.
• Items should illustrate a commitment to learning about children and families.
• Items should illustrate a commitment to involving families in all aspects of the program.
• Items should illustrate a desire to share how and what children learn during their participation inthe program.
• Avoid items that are policy/rules related (e.g., reminder notes sent home to bring more diapers).
Submit your slides in Blackboard by 5 p.m. 11/13/25. (20 points)
