Any good business plan or health care proposal begins with a well-thought-out topic. This topic should fill a needed gap, improve efficiency, or move the business forward. In this first step, you will choose a topic and begin the research required to develop your suggestion.
Review the Capstone Proposal Template. In this assignment, you will complete the Project Description, Strategic Planning Tool, and Literature Review sections.
Choose a Capstone focus from the list below based on the needs of your organization, community, and/or patient population.

Use the Capstone Proposal Template you downloaded and add to it throughout this course which I attached it. Fill out the template as well. I choose Cedars Sinai as my organization.
Project Description
Write a 250-word project description:
- Describe the proposed Capstone program/project/plan, including the existing organization involved or the new organization to be created:
- the health, clinical, or administrative problem(s) to be addressed
- the operational areas to be improved (if applicable), and/or the proposal to be developed
- Describe the target populations and the value to be delivered in terms of meeting community, socioeconomic, administrative, or regulatory needs.
- Describe any strategic partnerships that will play a key role in the proposal.
Strategic Planning Tool
Choose and create a 1-page strategic planning tool:
- Perform a SWOT, GEMBA, PEST, or Workflow Diagramming, etc., to support your Capstone proposal selection, including any pertinent data relevant to your population, organization, or problem.
- Cite any sources using APA guidelines.
Lit Review
Develop a literature review including at least 4 directly related articles, research studies, or published texts, including:
- APA reference for the source.
- A brief paragraph summarizing each source. Include any key strategies, research findings, pertinent data, and information relevant to the Capstone.
Everything is provided to write the paper. Answer the way the question is asking for question for each section. Also I included a word documents that can help you write the paper which includes all of the details it requires and make sure it's neat and organized, so it's easy to follow. do not use AI to write the paper.
Cite 4 reputable references to support your assignment (e.g., trade or industry publications, government or agency websites, scholarly works, or other sources of similar quality).
- Always start with the author(s), followed by the year in parenthesis, followed by the title, and then the doi or URL site information.
- If the article is from a website and does not have any specific author, use the agency, fully spelled out, as the author. For example, see below for a correction to reference #5 on your list:

- For the title, no quotation marks are required and it should be written sentence-style---meaning, only the first word and any proper nouns are capitalized.
- Italics should be used for the article if it is from a website. If the title is that of a book, it should also be italicized.
- The journal title should be fully spelled out and italicized with all major words capitalized, followed by the volume number, also italicized.
