Overview
Mini Project 3 - Design an Innovative, Contemporary, Safe, and Resident-Centered Facility Design
Your expected deliverables for this Mini Project are:
1) a facility design that incorporates all the considerations, regulations, principles, and best practices from our course
2) a Powerpoint (PPT) presentation that is either narrated or includes speakers' notes highlighting aspects of your facility design (plan for a 15-30 minutes board presentation or 5-10 slides)
Present a design of a facility that is focused on providing an environment that promotes quality of life for its residents. Identify innovations in your design, how they will work, possible barriers to their implementation, how you will overcome potential barriers, and why you believe your design with its features and innovation will enhance the quality of life for residents and the community. Your intended audience is a governing board which will be responsible for either approving or denying your design and proposal. Be creative!
You are to include and cite at least 3 professional journals/references (which are peer reviewed) according to APA Guidelines and include an APA formatted "Reference List" as the last slide in your PPT.
