Intrucciones: This is an individual assignment, based on what has been learned this week and a review of the literature:

Read the following data and describe how you would validate the contradictory data obtained from the following clients:

1. Mr. Delong is a 55-year-old client diagnosed with emphysema. He tells you he never smokes, but another healthcare worker tells you she saw him smoking outside the hospital before he came in.
2. Mrs. Lane is a 32-year-old woman who presents at the ER with her husband. She has a laceration on her face requiring stitches and bruises on her arms. She tells you she was “clumsy and fell off a chair” she was using to change a light bulb. She appears wary of her husband, who is hovering over her protectively.

Part of scholarly writing involves the ability to synthesize information into succinct and clear writing, “making a case” in your written discussion. Your answer must be written in a document to be uploaded, following the APA suggestions for academic work. In the document, the following aspects should be broadly discussed. The document must include an extension of 100-250 words; grammatical considerations will be evaluated, and critical thinking must be present in the work. Referred to the rubric.
