Article 2 Presentation Submission

Its only 3 questions you have to answer and as well write notes on the powerpoint for each and a question backing it up here are the three questions that need to be answered

1) Did the authors find a relationship, show a trend, or demonstrate a new method?

2) Did they synthesize literature around a topic in a review?

3) Did they put forward a new conceptual framework?

    • Presentation should apply course concepts from the assigned chapter (especially for discussing causes of the problems and recommendations).
    • Tie material to current research and practice in the field (especially in discussing alternatives and recommendations).
    • Tie material to recent relevant news stories .
    • Provide a structured class discussion, including discussion questions.
  • Enhance your presentation by using Powerpoint slides, flip-charts, handouts, etc.
  • Presentations should be kept to 10 minutes or less (inclusive of class discussion).
  • Students are expected to demonstrate the ability to speak extemporaneously; to appear professional in dress and manner; to use relevant visuals, easily seen by the entire audience, and smoothly integrated into the presentation; to create rapport with the audience; and, to accomplish the purpose of the presentation to the professor’s satisfaction (receive a passing course grade).
  • Each team member’s segment must be substantive: Simply introducing the team and topic or concluding by reviewing what everyone else has presented is insufficient. Some meaningful aspect of the presentation must be presented.
    • Each team member must speak for at least 2-3 minutes.
  • Each team member will be assigned the team’s grades, as adjusted on the basis of group performance evaluations (discussed below).

As a group you will choose a current topic relating to the weeks reading and prepare a 10 minute PowerPoint presentation on the topic for the class. Specific article selections cannot be duplicated and will be honored on a first come basis.
