THE TOPIC IS: How do HCOs work to help patient outcomes when cost is running uncontrolled.

Choose an issue that interests you in your current or past workplace and using an Evidence-Based Approach to Design and Implement a Management Intervention. This project will include the five key competencies required for evidence-based decision making:

1. Formulating/Framing the question
2. Acquiring research evidence (i.e., finding sources of information)
3. Assessing the validity, quality and applicability of research evidence (i.e., assessing the accuracy of the information)
4. Presenting the research results in a way that will increase use (i.e., assessing the applicability of the information)
5. Applying the evidence in decision making (i.e., assessing the actionability of the information
