Mixed Methods Approach
For this ‘mixed methods’ formative assessment, you will argue either for or against using mixed methods in a 10-minute podcast or audio format. You will also need to submit your script, including citations. The purpose of this assignment is to help you develop your skills of defense, which is also very important for your capstone defense. Here are the guidelines for this assignment:
- 10 min maximum podcast or audio recording
- Persuasive style
- Script of the podcast including references/citations
- Evident case made either for using ‘mixed methods’ or against using ‘mixed methods’
- Relate the podcast to South College CBE Doctoral Programs and whether ‘mixed methods’ is or is not a good fit.
Be sure to be persuasive in this podcast, like you would in your oral defense of your capstone. Do not read your script for the podcast/audio. Speak with passion on your chosen topic.
