In previous assignment, you were to practice running a dataset (quantitative) or coding a dataset (qualitative) from a national database. Now it is time to present your findings in table or figure form. In this formative, you will simply present your findings. You do not have to discuss what you think they mean. You simply present the information your gathered in your mini-research with your dataset from the last competency.
Here are the tasks for this formative:
- Retrieve the dataset and tests or coding you performed in Competency 5.
- Put your results or findings into either a table or figure, depending on how it would best present your work.
- Submit your results in either tables or figures.
- Include an introduction with the following:
- Research questions and hypotheses (quantitative).
- Tests you ran, variable used… or coding method you used and themes that emerged.
- Why you chose to present your findings in the tables and/or figures you chose.
- What you learned from this process.
Remember, you do not have to interpret findings or results. You are only presenting them in this formative assessment.
