Overview
16-year-old girl seen in office for pain and burning with urination for 2 days. Patient also reports urinary urgency, frequently and pain in her pelvic area. She denies fever. Urine appears cloudy on exams. Urine dipstick positive for elevated WBC and nitrates. Urine culture sent out. DX. Urinary tract infection. Nitrofurantoin macrocrystal/monohydrate 100 mg BID x 3 days ordered
