- How the program might impact the local and regional economy.
- Payor Mix & Reimbursement:
- Commercial and Private insurance
- Medicare/Medicaid
- Private pay
- An estimate of the major costs associated with implementing and operating the service.
F. Demographics and Market Assessment
This section explores market-related issues for the proposed program, including marketing demographics, strategy, and competition. Include information like:
- How the program fits with and affects the organization’s marketing strategies.
- Key market segments (demographics) for the organization.
- Program competition for the program.
For this section you are expected to offer supporting data from government sources, trade organizations, and professional organizations. Be sure you properly cite your sources.
G. Regulatory and Accreditation Issues
This section assesses how the proposed new program may be subject to federal, state, and local laws, and accreditation standards. Examples include:
- Regulatory and policy requirements and implications.
- New licenses or certificates for the organization or staff members.
- Accreditation standards.
- Tax status.
H. Organizational Issues
This section assesses how the proposed new program may impact the organization’s entire system. Examples include:
- Liability and risk management.
- Required space.
- Required staffing.
