The leaders ' behaviors in the organization are very congruent to the mission, vision, and values . They are committed to providing safe, high quality to care patients. This is achieved by ensuring staff follow policies and procedures while providing patient care to obtain the best patient outcomes or results for patients. Staff are required to complete mandatory training annually on infection control and other topics relevant to patient care. Also, staff are constantly reminded to listen to the patients and practice empathy and compassion. Following policy and procedure, education , and displaying empathy and compassion are effective ways to implement the mission, vision, and values of the organization.
b. The mission, vision , and values are congruent with the nursing core values. The nursing core values are collaborative, proactive, reliable, and excellence. The nurses collaborate with members of the IDT to deliver safe ,quality care. They explore different ways to provide individualized care , while following policy and procedure , to achieve the best results for the patient. Patient- centered care delivered with compassion and empathy is the goal.
c. My philosophy of nursing is similar to the mission, vision, and values of the organization. I have no differences. I believe that nurses should be life-long learners who strive to deliver exceptional care to all patients while demonstrating empathy and compassion. Nurses should actively listen to patients to anticipate their needs and not be judgemental.
