For this Assessment, you will create a proposal recommending a specific healthcare technology to resolve a problem in a healthcare facility with which you are familiar.
To complete this Assessment, identify a problem in your healthcare facility that might be resolved with technology. Then select a healthcare technology and prepare a proposal that includes the following:
- Describe the healthcare technology you selected.
- Explain the purpose of this healthcare technology and why it is important to health information technology and integrated networks.
- Explain how the healthcare technology is used at your facility.
- Explain the role of this technology in the delivery of care.
- Explain why the technology has a positive impact on the delivery of care.
- Explain how the healthcare technology recommended adheres to the requirements of the Affordable Care Act (ACA).
