The Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, or in short Affordable Care Act, changed the landscape of the healthcare industry. At the same time, health care organizations are relying more on artificial intelligence, health information technology, telehealth, and data analytics to improve care and manage costs.
For this assignment, read the background readings, as well as conduct additional research, and write a paper to respond to the following questions. Be sure to support your analysis with peer-reviewed and reliable sources.
- Discuss the social, political, and economic impacts of the ACA.
- Analyze the role of AI, digital health, and health care technology in supporting ACA-related goals.
- Recommend strategies to deal with the economic realities of health care based on your own research.
